Bought the truck in mid May of 01. Now has 75,800 miles and nearly 2000 hours. I figure by time it is 4 years old it should have 100k on the odometer. Checked the balancing rates the other day, most stay around - + 1.5 and two of them jump to about 2.0. Hopefully I won't have any injetor issues.

Bought mine in Oct. 03. Have 9000 miles no problems. Great truck!

Bought 12/03. Just turned 9k this weekend.

Bought it 12/02, have 18,200 miles and not one problem (except for those factory POS shocks I just replaced)!!

Bought it on 10/03 and it has 11k on it and no problems.

48,000 good miles. Averaging about 15 mpg, which it was 18 but this is one big truck. Does not seem that big to me but everyone that rides in it is amazed and feel like they are riding in a tank.


Repaired, turbo bracket, and slight vibration, source not found but continues after new tires.


I plan on keeping the full 5 years, unless the move to Metro Chicago changes this plant. Garage parking is a bit tough.


Now that I've had diesel never going back. That includes cars.

my truck just turned 2 years old last week. 77777 miles on the odometer but about 42000 of those miles are with bigger tires.

88,900 miles, had a head replaced at around 70,000 (had a pinhole in the head), and just got all 8 injectors replaced, running like a bandit. Both issues fully taken care of under warrenty. Love the truck.

Bought in Jan.03 now have 19000 miles and no problems other than stearing shaft rattle,I love this truck..

Bought 8/02. Got 35,000 miles now including one 14,000 mile 5 week trip pulling 28 foot 5th wheel to Alaska. Only been to shop once for magic grease application to steering shaft. Can't find anything to fix on the truck before 36,000 mile basic warranty goes out next month. Oh, well....


So far best truck I've ever owned or pulled with.

2001 bought in June of 2002, new. 21,000 miles so far pulling TT about 8,000 miles. No problems so far.

39,000 miles. Bought Feb 02. 49% of miles towing 5th wheel. Pulls great. Avg towing 12mpg. no problems so far!

Bought Nov 01, turned 43,000 today and will be 44,000 by sunday. No problems other than NSBU switch while plowing in snow storm.

Purchased New Nov. 2001 now has 19200 kilometers no problems so far.

I purchased mine in March of 2002, I have aprox. 60,000 miles, with no problems to date. I service mine four times a year, OIL Change, Fuel Filter, Lubricate Chasis, and Rotate Tires. Running Great!

Purchased mine August 2003, 9354 miles now. Tow mirrors don't work, other than that, no problems.

purchase 1/25/04; 4,325 miles; no problems; towing season starts on Friday! running great and love this truck.

Bought Oct 31 02, new fuel manager, return line, junction block, 8 injectors, one high pressure line at 30,000. New steering box 40,000. Injector making noise at 45,000. Blown dash light bulbs at 53,000. Currently 53,481. But still spanked F250 with 460 while weighing in at 11,300 so that makes it all good!!

Bought my 2004 in Nov. 03... 6500 miles or so on her now. Nov,Dec, Jan &amp; Feb are my busiest months on a truck... Hunting way to much... ok not enough by my standards but that's what my wife says. Usually put on 600 miles in a weekend during that time. It's only 6 miles round trip to work and back.


Fuel sending unit replaced.


Awesome truck/engine/trans. Can't wait till they put the Dmax in a Tahoe for the wife.

I have 82,000+ miles on my 01. 1 turbo, and a couple of return lines is the only problems I have had.

Bought mine in February of 2003. It now has 7,800 miles. (it was sitting in the driveway waiting for me while I was in Iraq) Great truck but the electric gremlins have got to go!

Motocopter, I would also like to thank you for your service to our country. I assume you are out of Ft Campbell? If so, you have flown over my house a few times(couple miles north of Russellville, KY). I have a few buddies and coworkers in Iraq.

65,000 miles/2000 hours. Only warranty work needed so far was heated mirrors inop. Both mirrors replaced. 11,000 miles on new tires and just did rear brakes. Sold a sonoma with 220,000 miles on it... At 3 times the price, this truck better go twice that far. Anyone out there over 200,000 yet? 250?

04 chevy 3500 LB7 D/A 6254 miles.No problems here.

2001 with 54,000 miles and a new turbo and wastegate at 50,000 miles. some electrical problem cause the waste to be bad then the tubro got burnt. replaced no charge by stealer.

2002 with 37500 miles in 1480 hours. 3 leaking injector cup seals, 2 bad injectors after (think the first repair caused the need for the second) and an Allison valve body. My buddy says I should be hacked, but since it's never strainded me, I enjoy driving it and the economy is so much better than my last gasser, I can't.... 92,xxx and running like a bandit. Just had all 8 injectors replaces, injector lines. Just got back from pulling a light trailer 6,000 lbs to Batesville, Mississippi. Extremely pleased with her.

'01 2500HD/EC/LWB4x2 bought used Aug. '02 w/17,500 as a "Certified" GM used truck ....57,000 and going strong! Only steering shaft rattle.

bought 03/04 5600 trouble free miles

I have '01 (Delivered in 6/01). 84,300 miles. Most have been used for towing 11Klb trailer and for work. Running great and still averaging 15.5-16mpg daily driving. Towing MPG was 11-12 with big trailer(not towing this anymore as of 2/04), with 4Klb boat it is virtually unchanged from daily driving. Truck still looks new and drives new.
