I am in southern CA right now working and I'm driving my buddies 04' 3500 Dodge and it's seems to defuel at about 3/4 throttle. Anybody got any ideas? I am towing a small 12' tandem axle trailer with about 6K, it seems to be a little underpowered but it pulls up to 3/4 throttle just fine. I have not toyed with to many CR Cummins so any help is appreciated.

As soon as it started that was the first thing I did, still same thing. Does the 48RE have any type of defueling feature?

Can you do the key trick to get codes like on my truck?

Turn the key to the run position on and off three times. The third time, the odo window will produce the code number like P0193 and then go back to the odo. If your truck isn't storing any codes then it will just say the word "done" and then go back to odo display

No codes, he is going to take it in, it's still under warranty as long as it's engine related and not tranny for some reason.
