The dyno numbers look real good on that 2001. You should post 'em.

Issues using the westers garage software or issues ussing other tuning software?

Problems solving the 2001 speed limiter with our software was the question.

I guess what I was trying to say is that if anyone needed help with the AVAILABLE parameters in our software, it was a very simple thing to accomplish. We never had any issues/problems with 2001 speed limiting, either. Steve had it nailed way before we did...

I can delete the speed limiter in your pcm by adding a 03 file to a 01 pcm. It is proven. I can change VINs too. More HP also.

Well...2003 code in an '01 PCM is a stretch... besides, we've never had to. We don't encourage this mis-match of software code to end up with non-functional items in your truck. I serously doubt you'd exceed the power we're making.

200rwhp and 400rwtq. 03 in an 01 is proven and works. i will exceed your power soon.

oh yeah, the flash chip block memeory in a 01 is the same as the 02 or 03. The chip is an Intel similar to the ones used in a pcm for a LS1 truck or car. the board is different though. You dont mismatch any code. you just extract the old code, enter new code, and then change the VIN to yours. If you need help for free, I can help you out.

You're about 3 years too late. We used to swap PCM's like that, too.

I will soon be ahead. I am creating a VDF for Duramax with my Software Writer/creator.

He's got no clue....I think we're also proving that there's nothing wrong with running the good 'ol 2001 code, either. See you in the 12's !
