Has anyone found any good solution for led exterior lighting, i.e., drl, brake and turn signal leds?

i have found some led drl's but thats it so far...auto zone, stores like that have them...you can buy all the rear lights in led's though.

for '3157 led light' and you'll get lots of hits.

My advice: get the cylindrical versions with 25+ LEDs. I picked up some low-LED cone-shaped ones on sale at a local parts place: way too dim in the daylight and almost no beam-spread either.

I have looked some but can't seem to find many that are in amber or white. Has anyone had any luck using them as DRLs?

I have some ambers comming, I'll post back as to how they work, although the manufacture dose not "warranty" them for DRL because of the pulse with power source.

I got some amber LEDs off ebay, but you either have to get a speacial flasher or a set of resistors, otherwise they flash really fast like when you have abulb out. Also avaliable on ebay
