A friend has an 05 or 06 Dodge. He wants to install an aux tank with a 6 port switching valve in it like I have on my Chev. Chev is a suction feed fuel system so there is no pressure in the fuel feed lines.

I thought that Dodge uses a pump in or near the tank to pressure feed fuel to the engine. Is this true or have I been misinformed?

This will create a problem for installing a valve in the system since the fuel lines would have to be cut and use hose in the line connections to the valve. The other option is gravity feed the aux tank to the OEM tank.
