I have to get my fuel filter changed soon. GM wants to use the new one. Is everyone pleased with it? Any issues I need to know about?

Tell them that you want to take the old filter home and cut it open, my dealer charged me $4.00 for hazardous waste disposal to get rid of the filter that was on the truck. I know it's only $4.00 but I thought it was kind of CS.

I would say that it is good. I called the racor people about the difference between the single and dual pleat filter. The guy said the dual pleat is still a 3 micron filter like the old one but definetly recommend running the new one.
