I used to think that until I put 535k on a 4 banger grand-am while I was in sales. It would have kept going except the radiator got clogged and I overheated her in the summer and cracked the block. I used valvoline 10-40 when she was new. Then switched to 20-50, then 40 wt racing then 50 wt racing with stp. Figured as she wears out I will thicken the oil. It semed to work. | ||
