Does any one make a 80psi Boost Gauge, all I can find is 30,50,60,100. Who the hell runs 100psi anyway:eek:

What do you need an 80 for? 60 is plenty for me.

You use 100 psi for twin turbo cummins

Might at well go with 100psi.. Just for the look, you never know what you might do to your truck next...

Geez, running that much boots why not just get it calibrated in bars? What kind of power output from that? The only thing I've ever seen running that kind of boost were the F1 cars from the early 80s running 8-9 bars of boost. Something in the neighborhood of 1000 hp from 1.5 liters. That big diesel with 4-5 bars of boost? Thats some serious output.

I'm willing to bet that a stock duramax will not hold up to over 60 psi for long.

55 works fine... should i crank it higher to test 60 on stock fasteners?

With the Twins and ARP headstuds, Trannytom and I plan to crank up the psi on Thursday/Friday on the dyno, tom is installing the studs and updating my Wester's software, Lyndon is making a custom tune that hopefully will light the big turbo and still give me a drivable truck, i talked to Nathen and he recomends sticking to 65psi ( the big fella can make 70psi) even with studs, the stock pistons make to much compression.

In my future I see low comp pistons, rods, heads, firerings, cam, LBZ short block and lots of boost):h
