How much is a Tech II programmer, or whatever programmer is required for the 2004 Chevy? Is it even available for the public? Thanks!

IIRC, Dmaxallitech said they were about $2800.00 including a one year subscription to the updates. That's for the "Official" GM unit.


But I think you have to be a dealer to get downloads for updates to the various control modules on the vehicles.
