ive had them in the past. not a bad tire by any means. can sometimes wear pretty fast and they tend to get pretty loud. they work fine in the mud.

I have the ST's and they are awesome. I use them on my truck in the winter only for plowing. They are about the best tire that I've had in the snow. They are a bit noisy, especially when the plow is on.

Yeah, now that can get real annoying. But those things are awesome in the mud.

They seem to look an awful lot like the toyo open country tires.

The ride was a little rougher than my BFG A/T's, but once I got used to it, it's not bad. They are a tad loud, but that comes with the territory with mud tires. Mine seem to be wearing ok, but I have only had them on for about 1500 miles so far. I like them, but like all 285/70/17's, they are too expensive. Just my .02

I have had mine on for 10,000 miles now. Like everybody else siad, you do notice the humm of a mud tire but its not even close to being unbearable. I drove 12 hours straight to Tennessee and not uncomfortable at all, even puts the wife to sleep a little faster. And I feel you Big Angry, they are F'n pricey but well worth it.

Why did you get rid of your 35's?

Closing on a house, need money.I'll buy big again in the near future.Besides,my cousin had $1200.00 burning a hole in his pocket and a 6" lift on a new GMC w/little stockers. The $400.00 will really help right now.The chevy ought to run like a striped ape w/the 285's.:)

Ive had mine on for a lil over a month and have about 2K on them so far. They do have a slight hum, but not nearly as loud as i expected. Heres a link to some pics of it http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/showthread.php?t=68555
