Thinking of putting some Bridgestone A/T Revo's 285/75/R16's on my '05 2500hd 2wd. How much rubbing will I have, and how much can I remedy this by cranking on the torsion bars?

Welcome to the forum. Please try and use the Search function first to see if someone else has already asked the same question. I know from experience the Revo's have been discussed a lot over the last year or 2.

Just click on the "Search" link near the top of page then search Titles using the word: Revo You should find lots of posts to keep you busy for a long time :)

I'm running 285/75/16's on the factory PYO's...great wear, quiet tire and good traction overall Plus I Tow 7500+ all the time with them so thats a plus...

I'm running the same thing. So far 10,000 miles and excellent wear. Only time will tell. I recommend them so far.

I've got the 285/75/16 on stock also. 17K so far. Great on road/highway characteristics. For the most part I agree w/all the rants and rave about these tires. I am not that impressed, however, with their mud, snow and ice performace.

IMO there as good as any other AT out there... You want better mud meats go with MT's...

Look at sig.

I had to crank torsion bars on 265's.

Do commercial snowplowing, great winter and all around tire.

Did you have to crank on the torsion bars to stop rubbing?

I did not crank the bars yet. Barely any trimming, but I should trim a bit more. I do get a little bit of rub in reverse with the steering wheel almost cranked all the way. I am about to do the tosion bar crank Bilstein thing though.

i would buy these tires again for the 3rd time i am on my second set of revos. first set was on my old sub 4x4 and now i bought new ones for d max. i have 265`s and i had to crank my t-bars.
the tires wear perfect i had 55,000 miles on my first set and had plenty of life left in em. just keep em rotated and have balanced at the same time should last for many miles.

Third set? Were AT revo's made that long ago...I know the Dueller AT's were but I thought the REVO's were about 2 yrs. old now at most...I could be wrong...

That being said...I love mine...

Looking to buy another set now. Got over 50k on the last set. A little squeamish at first but after putting on a few miles they handled great. They also handled the load really good (see below).

I just put the 285's Revos on stock rims yesterday. I really like the look. Running 50 psi in all four and it rides better. I cranked the bars only to level out the truck. No rubbing anywhere. Got all 4 for $751 incl tax, mounting, & balancing at a local Firestone dealer. Ask for a better price. They'll give it to you. I think they are competing with Costco and Sam's Club. But, if you don't ask, you don't get....

I got my Revos for $690.00 out the door. That was including alignment and cranking of the torsion bars.
