I went to spray off some salt today after a drive. I inadvertenly hit the left rear wheel with the water and had a huge flume of steam came off the rotor. I test sprayed the other rotors and nothing happened.:confused:

I checked by putting my hand down by the left rear wheel and I could feel the heat off of the brake rotor, I mean HOT! Checked the others and very little heat off of them. I think the only thing it could be is a stuck caliper.

Anyone know a way to fix this or something I can do until I can get it to my dealer. I won't be able to get it to my dealer until next week.

Yeah sounds like a sticky caliper! Take it off and clean the slides and put neversieze on them and where the caliper touches the mount on the top and bottom. You should do the other side too. That should fix ya.

Could also be a wheel bearing.-:t
