Is their really any difference between Chevy and GMC other then the name plate and a few cosmetic changes?

From the factory the Chevy is ok....really nice after guys add to it....like new grills, lift, and matching paint on the bumper. However back in the old days when I was a kid we used to say, "a GMC is a Chevy with lock-washers". TEXMudder 03-25-2004, 02:30 PM From trying to find my new truck there are only a few things I could find that were different: -front end -molding on doors (I couldnt stand the Chevy molding) -tail lights Other than that I couldnt find anything.
