Hello all. This is a very informative site you have here. A brief history with me and Duramax trucks:
My first was an '03..Ext. Cab, 2500HD, SWB, leveled, 285 tires, straight exhaust, Edge Juice Box
Unfortunately, I wrecked this truck with just 13,000 miles on it. I replaced it with an '05 1500 gasser in October 2004. This truck has been trouble since I have had it. I got a call last week from Chevrolet and they offered me a replacement. I opted for an upgrade to another 2500HD. They located one for me and it was delivered to my local dealer on Friday. It is an '06 2500HD, ext. cab, swb, LT1 with the LBZ engine and of course the Allison 6 speed. I am told that it will take close to a month before everything is processed and I get to drive it away.......needless to say, it's going to be a long month! I can't wait to get back into another Duramax!
Should you wait awhile before doing a new exhaust...or is a break-in period not necessary?
