My truck has almost 2000 miles on and it was nice today so I changed the oil and filter, fuel filter, trans filter, changed the gear oil and greased everything. The only thing I had trouble with was the trans filter, Allison must employ a HUGE gorrilla to put them on, I didn't put it back on that tight. I used Napa oil and fuel filters, and the Allison filter for the trans, I filled the engine with DELO 400 15w40, Dex-6 in the Ally, and Valvoline 75w90 synthetic. I am going to cut the filters open tomorrow to see how they look. I plan on changing the oil every 3000, the fuel every 6000 and the trans and gear oil evey 12000, I know it may be overkill but I 've done it on all my other vehicles and and have never had a problem. Just thought I would share my day..:p:

Keep good records and reciepts for parts. For warranty issues.
