I was considering putting a 6sp in my truck but didn't know if the trans from the duramaxes would bolt up to a 6.5. Does anyone have any ideas?

If I understand your post you intend to hook up a ZF6 to a 6.5? I dont know if you can do it easily or at all but the ZF6 is an extremely strong tranny. Don't know if the DMF will hold on a 6.5 which it doesn't on a duramax. I sell aftermarket clutch kits for duramax which you can view on my website.

The ZF will directly bolt up to the 6.5 engine. You would need a custom clutch since the bellhousing depth is different. It would however be very simple since your 6.5 uses a standard pressure plate bolt pattern. The crank it up diesel guys could help you if need.

Taking this a step further cause I'm looking to do the same thing. How bout bolting it up to the Transfer case in my 95 K2500??? Anybody got any ideas bout that
