I'm running 45 PSI in my 265/70-17 Bridgestone Revos.
Frankly, I'm not sure if that's right or not, but the max PSI allowed isn't much more than that.

I give her 50 front and 40 rear. It makes it easy to steer and handle very well, try it.
I've checked the load inlfation tables and experimented to get the donut bulge at the bottom of the tire about the same, front and rear. Unloaded I use: 57 psi front/43 psi rear in my Michelin 265/75/16 LTX M/S load range E.
It pretty much is a funtion of the load on the tires - empty=less, loaded - more. I have factory tires on my truck and am running around all the time at about 9100 lbs gvw. Mine are at about 70 psi on the back 65 on the front. I'm getting even wear at 45,000 Km's and 1 rotation. If the current wear rate continues I should make the 60 to 65,000 mark before I need a new set of skins.
