I want to replace my SM465 trans in my 1990 one ton with something with an overdrive. The transfer case is the standard 6 bolt round pattern with 32 spline input shaft. I'm thinking ZF6, but really don't know if it will bolt up.

I called Vic at Advance Adapters and he said that they didn’t do anything with the ZF6. He did say however that if it was like most NV4500s, that they would physically bolt up, but both the respective input and output shafts are too long and needed to be spaced approximately an inch apart. They sold the adapter for just over $100.

Anyone see any issues?

Yes,they appear the same as an nv4500.I have a spacer I may sell.I was going to install a nv4500 in my trail rig but decided to sell it instead. I'd like to do a D-Max/ZF6/205 in an older Chevy :D
