I went throught the steering rattle hoops: got a grease job, changed the steering column, finally put in the $5 bearing.


This fixed the rattle, but now I have a "squeak/creek" when coming to a stop and turning. It also shows up when I am in the process of parking my 5th wheel. It sounds like two pieces of the dash plastic rubbing.


Have you had any reports on this type of complaint. If you have I will have amunition to take to my stealer.

I have just started to hear the same thing. Sounds like the steering wheel and the colum are rubbing. I can't duplicate it at will but it happens when I am moving slowly and applying throttle like when I back out of a parking space, put it in drive, give it some fuel and turn the wheel. I started to notice it a few months ago maybe.
