Just installed a boost gage on my 04 lly 4x4 CC sb,I am getting 22 pounds boost at the inlet to the engine wot. I removed the aluminum tube coming from the intercooler, I then held my shop vac. to the end of the aluminum housing going into the engine and drilled for 1/8 pipe thread. I installed an A piller pod with an autometer boost gage works good.

The brass fitting is the tap for the gage mounted to the inlet to the engine, the tube on the left is the air filter tube to the turbo. http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/uploads/56A_3.jpg

VERY NICE INSTALL!!!!
BTW I don't know if the question about turbo size (LB7 vs 6.0 F**D vs LLY) was ever answred. I was talking to the owner of ATS recently. We were comparing my LLY to my Dads 04 6.0 F**D. I asked him if they used the same turbo. He said, "They are similar in design but the Compressor housing on the LLY is quite a bit bigger than the 6.0 ford, and also bigger than the LB7". Sounds like the best of both worlds to me, Better responding than the LB7 AND able to make more power than the LB7 AND more importantly THE F**D 6.0 PSD.
