: TranSynd 1822 03-23-2004, 06:16 AM Anyone notice a color change in their fluid after a tow? I installed a deep pan and new TranSynd and after a tow to Fla. and back to NY,[5000mi.], I noticed the fluid was amber not red. It smells and looks just fine and trans temps never went above 200 deg. Is this just a degradation of the dye or an indication of a problem? Mackin 03-23-2004, 06:26 AM Not to jump in a tech question but, More than likely it was Amber going in .... There is no "standard" requirment for color and will often change from lot to lot ....
