Only 6k miles and went to rotate tires. Couldn't get the back wheels broke free of the axle hub. Had to pound them off with a sledge. The Al. wheels were fused to the axle. Better get the never seize on those or it will be bad news if you get a flat out on the road.

Just for laughs, check the fluid level in rear diff. A lot of guys have said they were quite low from the factory. Also check bearings and axle seals just to be safe. It's possible this was brought on by excessive heat. I'd take it to the dealer and let them check it out, and at least you will have the complaint on file if anything comes up in the future. Everything looks good in the rear end. I changed the rear end oil and the gears and everything looks good. I think there just wasn't enough clearance between wheel and hub. Also the AL wheel had a lot of corrosion on it. The two metals just don't get along together if there isn't a barrier of some kind between them. That is why I always put never seize on my hubs when I rotate AL rims .
