: The way they should come from the factory
aziator 02-16-2006, 07:41 PM I got all my parts (fender flares, mirror covers, door and tailgate handles, bowtie and the locking gas door) back from the painter today. I was running out of light when I took the pics tonight, I will take more after I get the truck cleaned up and it is nice out. I really like the look of all the body parts matching. Now I really need to get a lift on it and get the bed sprayed (heading out to see truckdaddy this May). This new color is growing on me more and more as I see it.

I was thinking about doing them but I am leaning towards having them Line-Xed color matched...
I like the fuel cover, what kind is that?
It is the AMI from stylin concepts. I got the brushed alum as it was the cheapest and no need to pay for a nice finish just to get it painted.

Very tasteful, I like it.
BTW, if they came that way from the factory, your truck wouldn't stand out.

The parts all together ran around $450, including the gas door. The painting was $450, done by the head painter at my chevy dealer. He did a great job and it looks good in person.
Antnee77 02-16-2006, 10:33 PM Looks awesome. Not on my to-do-list as of yet, but it's in my sights for the future.
phebus 02-16-2006, 11:04 PM The dual exhaust looks great to.

Looks like a 'Stylin Concepts'
Just installed one on mine last week.
Oops, I just noted that Aziator answered that for ya.
I kinda like that color as well. Good lookin' truck, I can see why daddy is proud.
Man, it's like you were reading my mind but skipped the last page about the upper and lower bumper covers. Excellent taste!
...and, how do you remove the mirror covers?
:ro)
chevy_cowboy 02-17-2006, 03:03 AM Personally I like the black trim as a contrast... especially on the blue granite truck. I'm thinkin about painting my bowtie, but the flares, side trim, door handles, and bumper cover are definately staying black on mine. If I'd gotten a color that had painted flares/body molding I was planning on ordering the black textured ones to swap em.
To each their own I reckon :thumb:

:exactly: If everyone had the same tastes, all trucks would look the same, and what fun would that be? Enjoy your trucks, everyone:)
