What is Max boost for a stock lly

What kind of boost are you guys seeing with Edge/attitude.

Seems like my Boost numbers lately are not consistent, on my E/A.

Checked all hoses and there tight. I read a thread somewhere where the E/A boost is not accurate.

Correct the Edge caps the boost signal at 28 psi, it will not display a higher value because of that. After putting in a mechanical gauge I was seeing 34 pis max with the Edge on 5/5.

I'm only seeing 20psi stock pulling 20000#, and on Level 2. I use to see numbers 22-24 pounds.

Yes but between that and EGT's that are produced getting there cook this turbo.

the 1.2 version of the Edge caps peak boost at 24psi to fix the turbo bark issue..just so everyone is clear on that. My Attitude sees 24psi with 1.2 and the previous version I saw 30+.

you might want to invest in a boost stick if you have the 1.2 and want more boost.

OK, I was unaware of that, the version that I was using was 1.0

The 1.2 was nicer than the 1.0 on my truck. The BS definately helped the 1.2 version even more.

I usually run my E/A on 3/5 and see boost pressures up to 20-22 psi with hard around town driving. I have version 1.5. I wonder if version is more conservative than the previous. Also, I still get turbo bark occasionally.

TBB I cannot say how much I do NOT reccomend stacking the Edge (especially version 1.0) with the PPE HOT or EFILive custom tunes..

PPE Hot, (I have an older 180 version) and Edge 1.0 on 5/5 :badidea: Been there, done that, hopefully in a few weeks I will have a wolf pack T-shirt to prove it! :lol:

Never had any major problems til I bought that PPE, now I just want to make it hotter, of course I better hope that the trans lasts long enough to get to Scott's :ro)

revised edge is slower than the older versions lower hp/tq?

Boost (max) depends on your altitude. 22 psi up to 5000 ft.

I see 30-31lbs. of boost when the Edge is set on Level 5. Don't know what version I have but I bought it Sept.2005. No updates to it.
