Not sure if this is the right forum for this, but...Did you purchase the Extended Warrenty offered by your dealer at the time you purchased your Dmax? Would you do it again? I did just for "peace of mind."

I wish i had a couple times but looking back at those couple times they didnt cover the cost of the warrenty. I guess if i truly had the money i would get the warrenty for piece of mned but if not i wouldnt wroory that much

I bought 1 with my first new truck...about a year into ownership of it, I sold the warranty back to the dealer after seeing what happened with a few people that had them first hand. Not always bad experiences, but extended warranty companies (depending on which one) don't like to spend any more than they have to.

i bought one for this truck just for the fact its a d/a and very expensive
to fix i work at a dealer for bumper to bumper i got it for 1200
same coverage for a ford would cost 2600 dont know why but my
guess is that they always have to be worked on and the warranty
company is losing there arss):h

I have also heard about problems others have had...lets add a twist to this. After the mods I've done to my truck....will they give me more sh*t if I need to collect on policy?? Thinkin about doing the same..sell back extended warrenty.

I did, powertrain to 75000 through GM. I think it was 7 or 800. The 100,000 coverage doesn't cover the Allison or anything above the block. Therfore, if you drop a valve and knock out the rest of the engine, Chevy won't cover it.
