I'm waiting for the Phantom II's to be released (check the same Autometer website) for my EGT and Boost...they don't use an incand. bulb at night, but instead use LED. Night illumination isn't so harse and it matches the OEM guages at night. Daytime is white face which I don't mind.

Some people have complained that those blue lit guages at night (Colbalts, C2's, etc.) are too bright (reminds me of the Timex Indiglo left on all the time).

Just my $0.02 worth.

Autometer is good, but I am partial to VDO, ****pit Series is nearly a perfect match, and if they are good enough to find in Fire Apparatus, then they are good enough for me!

Nice looking but I'm not too fond of mechanical gages. Guess I'm too lazy in my old age........:D

Yeah, but you can get them in electrical too. I am in a toss-up on which ones I am going to get. I like the looks of the cobalt, but now I am hesitant because of the brightness isssue at night. I don't want to spend a small fortune on them either.

I have Cobalt's installed in the O/H console. I don't find them too bright at all, but maybe it's cause they are way up there. Check my garage for pics.

Puffer, you should also check out the Isspro boost & egt gauges. I bought a complete kit, inc. pillar pod, from Kennedy Diesel - a supporting vendor - and have been very pleased.
