Hi, I know theres probably a lot of threads on it, but I was wondering where i can get one of these "pups" i need better fuel milage, i have 600 miles on my lbz and filled up 3 times... this is worse than my 99 6.0 gasser. Kind of disappointed. Also wondering if this will void warranty... and if so, if i would take it off before warranty work, how do i clear the computer codes?

First, a diesels milage will get better with time. You need some time and miles on her to get broken in. Also winter fuel can hurt milage.

Dont get a chip to increase milage.....most of the time it will never pay for itself. It does have fun factor though. But be carefull how much power you add becasue you can hurt your stock trans.

Also......remeber your initail fluid change. You should change your allison spin on filter(dont forget the magnet) and fluid in the front and rear dif and grease the front end ect

Duramax Andy - Just picked up my truck last weekend and I'm getting 18.2 mpg on the highway running 70-80. I put about 45,000 miles a year on my trucks, I'm very happy so far with the mileage with only 1100 miles on the truck. It should get better with time.

id say you have something wrong. 65(+/-) gallons for 600 miles isnt good at all! Better get it looked at.
