The PPE rewrites the ECM calibration and the VA alters the programming while the engine is running. The VA won't do anything to the PPE while it's programming the ECM. I would reprogram first, then install the box. That's probably the safest way but I never had a problem programming my truck with the Predator with the edge hooked up to it. I guess maybe the hypertech may just be even pickier than the Predator. | ||
