Need help from anyone that has removed their bumper and the black plastic strip connected to the grill. The bumper is off and I am trying to remove the black trim from the grill. Do I need to remove the radiator shroud and reach in ? I have removed the side tab connections, but looking underneath it looks like plastic tabs from the grill point upward and the black trim piece sits on the tabs with wide, flat slots. i will take pictures once installed, bought a stealth series front replacement bumper. here is a link, check out the white 03 with the silver bumper (mine is WITHOUT the tube push bar above the bumper). They are all chevies and I think they look great. Also, they do not stick out as far as say a ranch hand, not knocking the ranch hand. If I can get the d@mn trim piece off I will be set !
