I am currently using a demuslifying additive (howes) and was wondering if i can use the nicktane with it. From what i have read this type of additive lets the water settle to the bottom of the tank would it settle to the bottom of the filter and cause it to rust? it doesn't matter which route you choose to go with additives. personally i emulsify but i know plenty of people that run stanadyne with my kits.


water will rust any metal filter if it sits there long enough.
