I dont plan on building the crap out of it(the truck) I might just stack my programmer with an edge in the future so based on that, dual clutch or single? and does anybody know a place near the chicago area I can trust to do the the swap? and what they might charge?

Go with one of the clutches from crankitupdiesel.com, they have single or dual. If you have the basic tools just swap the clutch in your self its not that big of a deal. Im not a master mechanic, but I just did this project, so if you have any questions, let me know.

Or you could go with SBC dual disc kit made by a company making clutches and flywheels for many years and the first company to make after market flywheels for diesel trucks.
If you can wait 6 weeks the new single disc SMF kits should be available.
You might want to investigate the cost as well.

That might/might not be the cause. I just had mine installed by a Professional shop, and they had a he!! of a time get the old DMF off. Broke both of their 14mm allen wrenchs.......could not budge the bolt. He said they finally loosened it by using a 6ft. cheater bar.......could not have done it unless it was on a rack.

Ingersal Rand 1/2" Titanim Impact of mine worked for mine both of the times I had mine out but there was a few that I was starting to wondder on when they finaly when. 1,000 ft/lbs was bearly enought to get a few of mine off. The second time was easy due to the fact I torqued them other than trying to line up the holes.
