Currently my injectors failed:( and filled my crankcase with diesel. My first indication was the smell of diesel after driving. After the first indication I checked under the hood for leaks. I then checked the oil and it was very clean, I could not even hardly see it on the stick. GM loaded my truck onto a wrecker, took it to there shop, and replace all the injectors with no cost to me. The truck now runs better than it ever has, but my oil is still very clean. I may be crazy but the whole time I have owned this 02 chevy the oil is black/dark even after an oil change. I use Delo 15w40. Should I be concerned with this? :jawdrop: Also with the new injectors will I ever have this problem again? :thankyou2

The diesel washed all the soot out of your engine... It will build up "blackness", but give it time.

With new injectors you might have this problem again. I would suggest running some FPPF Total Power or Stanadyne. This will help keep stuff clean in there and running better...

Is this an additive to the fuel or oil ? Where can I buy this stuff.
Thanks for the info:)
