Anyone know which one or how many leafs you can/need to remove from a 1 ton to get it to ride like a 3/4 ton or softer? I have the Firestone air bag set up and will use that for towing....I mainly ride unloaded so I would like it to ride a little softer. http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Ermm.gif

KTDURAMAX,

Why wouldn't you just add air bags?

shortly after purchasing our 3500 (about 2 years ago) I had the longest removable spring (the one next to the one that bolts to the frame) removed and added Air Lift Air Bags ... ride has been much improved and witht the addition of the air bags, don't believe I lost any hauling capacity
