I had a problem with my speedometer about a month ago while in Arizona. I was driving with speed control around 70, when I let off the speed control and slowed down. The speedometer stayed at 70. I drove into town at 40, and the speedometer stayed at 70. I stopped at a light and the speedometer stayed at 70. I left the light and the speedometer went up to 110. In stopping and stopping it went up to 120 real quick.

I was out of the truck for about 3 hours, and when I started it again it was still on 120. I was planning to take it to the dealer, when I shut it off and started it again. The speed dropped by 10 mph. I did this 11 more times and it went back to 0. It’s been O K since. Any ideas?http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Confused.gif

Weird. Sorry, I am 100% clue free.

Thanks for the reply. At least I know how to fix it if it does it again.

Mine sticks at 5mph increments up/down and is real jerky up/down.

Just add this to the g r o w i n g list of problems I need to visit the dealer about.
