I just Installed a Autometer Boost Gauge. As I cruse down the freeway at 60 mph (no load) my Edge A2 reads about 6 PSI and my Autometer reads about 1 PSI. What PSI should I be at while doing 60? No boost stick installed.

Just curious - Where is your autometer reading from? Is it tied into the waist gate line? Where does the Edge get it's reading from? That may be the difference

I installed the Autometer on the bend of the intake manfoild. I don't know where the Edge gets in info.

Edge gets info from the MAP sensor/data bus. Its not all that accurate and I would beleive the gauge before the Edge. My Edge said I was pulling 28.8 PSI...then I got a real boost gauge and turns out I was sailing past 50 PSI.

No wastegate on a LLY... I just drilled and tapped my intake manifold for the sensor.

I drilled and tapped in the same spot. 1lb at 60 mph is about right. You will not see much boost when cruising. You'll only see the gauge climb quickly when getting on it or pulling big hills. I thought mine was wrong or incorrectly installed at first, but after some research and reassurance I discovered it is working just fine and accurately too.

Thank all for the info. I took it to the track this weekend. I could pull 32 PSI with my boost stick installed):h
