I just recently bought a 96 GMC Suburban 6.5 and after a bunch of snow over the last couple of days I found that under my rubber floor mats was wet. Any sugestions of where to find the leak??? Thanks

MY RUG IS WET TOO, SNOW COMES OFF BOOT OR SHOES AND DRIPS DOWN GAS PETAL TO RUG AND UNDER MAT.http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Embarrased.gif

Passenger side or drivers, if on pass side check ac/air box condensate drain, mine was doing that in the summer on pass side, airbox drain was plugged water had no place to go but the floor. Maybe similar for thawed snow/ice in defrost mode from air box seam or some low point drain drain on either side.

The water is under the drivers floor mat. Is there a body plug under that area that could posibly be leaking? Thanks

Could be, is this a lot or little bit of H20 for body plug I'm thinking it would have to be missing completely, maybe on firewall of engine compt water draining from defrost/fresh air duct under wipers leaking.

Try a hosedown with someone inside the truck to look for leaks, door edge seal could also do it; if door hinges are starting to sag (common in GM/Chev) door to frame gap too wide and you get water in that way.

leaks are hard to pinpoint you will have to do some detective work, hand over hand inspection while spraying with water has been best method for me.

Also on passenger side is the heater core. I replaced one in Dec. for dripping in the cab.
