It fires wont stay running unless I hold pedal down for 5seconds or so.
There is no air leak from behind the rectangle filter, but forward from the filter (toward injector pump) there might be,
with the engine not warmed up yet there is air bubbles in the return line, when the 4 degree advance timing is on, I am assuming
After the 4 degrees advanced turns off, I am assuming, it drops in Rpm's and there aren’t any more bubbles in the return line:confused:

When the Rpm's drop there arnt any more bubbles at the return line

what could be the problem?

Thanks

I might be wrong on this one, but you might have a worn advance piston on your injection pump. When cold, it could be acting up, then when warm it might expand a little. Try starting it with the cold advance wire removed from the pump and see what happens.
