What ever happened to the project to replicate the PMD?

hrjack - RemarQ made an aftermarket unit called the Sol-d if that's what you mean by replicate.

Not much talk about it here, but there are a few on the Page that are running it. Had some initial quality issues, and it's pricey considering what you can pay for a stock FSD on a remote cooler with good warranty.

Ford has an IDM that drives the injectors. Guess where they put it? Most are under the front fenderwell. Water gets them and their toast. Cost about 700 bucks.

What ever happened to the project to replicate the PMD?

I believe he is talking about the attempt to tear apart an old PMD and see how a better one could be built. I remember some progress on this but nothing lately.
