you guys happy that have them?

Any issues with the fuel cooler or sending unit etc?

I gotta get moving on a new tank, either this one or a Transferflow replacement.

thanks.

They claim that there is no issues with the fuel cooler being removed. http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Confused.gif As far as I can tell you also have to cut the fuel lines. http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Confused.gif

I am not sure if the transferflow is better or not.

I'm really liking the looks of the supertank system, and LOVING the increase from 26 gallons to 62 gallons! However, I'm still mulling over the loss of the fuel cooler and the problems I'll have with my aux tank setup. If I were to get one - I'd move my 6-way selector valve outside the frame and maybe look at relocating and maintaining my fuel cooler on the passenger side or in a driver's side fender.

I assume you are adding a tank in the bed and not under the truck??

I have a tank in the bed with the six port valve mounted inside the frame forward of the fuel cooler. Did not tamper with the cooler. I cut the lines forward of it and connected the valve with hose. I also have an inline filter from the aux tank to the valve just to keep trash out the valve. I have an add on CAT filter forward of the valve to filter all fuel going to the engine. Also have the factory filter still in place. Set up on been on truck since 2001 and have had no problems and love the range. My aux tank is 41 gallons.

Tom, I was planning on the replacement tank underneath. I need all the bed space I can get.

thanks.

The Supertank is an OEM undertruck replacement, Tom. I also have an American Tanks in bed 43 gallon aux, which is what would complicate a Supertank installation in my case. I'm sure intrigued by swapping my 26 gallon OEM for a 62 gallon Supertank, though!http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Clap.gif

I decided not to mess with the OEM fuel cooler and opted for the Transfer Flow 45gal replacement. Did not want to give GM/stealer any more leverage beyond what I've already done. And that's that!
