I wanna say fully spooled its around 100,000 RPM?? I think i rememebr seeing that somewhere.

i have read around 120,000 at "full" boost (20 psi) that is why balance on these jewels is so imparative

If you can believe some of the fluff, stock application is about 120K RPM. Balacance to hold 300K RPM. Stacking and such should get you near 200K or so.

btw fingers what do you think mine was turning at 52 PSI of boost??? :eek:

The VVT mechanicals appear to be rather stout. I am just not happy with it's efficiencies. IMO the back (drive) pressure to boost ration is poor.

Depending on what RPM you are running at, I could see getting 40 PSI boost at around 200K RPM shaft speed. At higher revs, I don't think the VVT breaths well enough to keep up. But I really don't know for sure.

IF the compressor stalls at anywhere near those speeds, parts will fly.
