Limped Trans LOL. Had the quadzilla on 135hp, plus boost stick, and foggin some pane, made a wild ride up to 4th gear, then the truck said XXXX you LOL. Gonna call ats tomorrow see if just a copilot will get me by for now. Anyone else have suggestions. All I can say is she pulls hard LOL, G teched a 0-60 at 7 sec. Not to bad for a truck that weights 7,800lbs. Includes me, my bud 200 lbs and a 600lbs of tools LOL.

The quad 135 and the boost stick by themselves will limp it rolling into the throttle from 70-80mph

You will not get the Allison to hold any decent power without a converter and going inside. Stick to less than 100HP (more like 75HP) tunes to be safer...

I ordered to copilot to help the trans out for now until I get enough cash to get a beefier version of the alli. Only limped it once. Truck was running good on that run 90mph by the end of 3rd gear.

that seems like a lot of power for a stock trans i think you wil still limp it witht he co pilot

Yea, I am not to sure either, holds fine till 4th. So I will play it by ear

I don't think the copilot is going to help much if at all. You are already glazing the clutch surfaces.

Wierd, my truck on level 5, edge told me i pulled 0-60 in 6.7 secs... :eek:

I just have 285's for tires, and I was going 90 at the end of 3rd, cause it was one hell of a jerk when it limped LOL. Just curious what everyone else is running at 90? Gear that is from a dead dig floored. Well even if the copilot doesn't help, at least the grunt of it will be installed once I get the new trans ;-). As far as the 7 secs, I am sure how accurate that was, I know I spund hard so eh. So far I have only limped it once, and have been easy on her ever since then. I will keep ya guys posted.
