Delvac might have ci4+ rating whereas mobil-1 truck and suv only has ci-4 (at last check); but most conclude that truck and suv is simply repackaged delvac targeted to the consumer versus commercial marketplace. Mobil is in the process of re-packaging. If you can find it in quantity, buy it cause you won't find it for much longer. Where is a good source for the Delvac in the SE and does it come in large containers and how much? rjm022 02-07-2006, 09:39 PM mobil told me the samething. that they are the same oil. but if you read the back of the of each bottle- delvac says ci-4 plus rating, where as mobil 1 truck and suv only states a ci-4 rating!!. theres is a difference for you guys that have an egr equiped motor!!
