Good news here on Monday. My truck got built on Friday. I had a $1,000 24 Hour Test Drive certificate that expired on Monday if I did not conclude the contracts by then. Guess what? Got the VIN on Monday afternoon and dealer drew up contracts.


Bottom line: MSRP $45,700 (almost every option available). Paid exactly $36,000. Thanks to a forum member for the Supplier Price Certificate. Plus $2,500 manufacturer incentive. Plus $1,000 test drive certificate. Plus $750 bonus cash that I didn't even know about until I went to the dealer on Monday.

Just minutes ago I found my production week was bumped to Mar. 29, having already been bumped from Mar.1 to Mar. 8. That $3250 cash back is looking shakey, since the April incentives have not yet been announced.

Test Drive Certificate was something that GMC mailed to me. I think it was because I had purchased a new GMC Safari Van, although that was 6 years ago. Regardless, it came right when I needed it...
