For those that what to use a 5W-40 Amsoil now has it available. This is a 100% synthetic group 4 oil. Meets and exceeds the API CI-4 rating. This was formulated aspecially to meet the European ACEA spec. Price is $54.60 for a 12 quart case. Quarts or drums is all its available in at this time.

What would you reccomend? The fully synth 1540, or the new 5 40?


I run in temps above freezing year round. Tow less than 5000 lbs in temps around 100 in the summer...
