I was told today by the GM Buy power people that if you do not select one of the 2 tire options that is offered, that the truck [ 3500 ] will come with LT265/75R16E tires. The option tires are both LT215/85R16D. Can any of you tell me what the difference between these tires are. I am buying the truck for towing a 5th wheel if that means anything. Seehunt, are we talking SRW or DRW??? SRW 3500 would come with the 265s, the Dooley comes with 215s. The difference is about a thousand pounds more capacity per tire with the 265s.
