Is it neccessary for me to run a boost gauge in conjunction with the boost stick?

They say that is all you'll need and anything over that amount is not as effcient. I just have a guage fetish and installed one anyway. I love gauges too, and I am always trying to think of where to install the next one. The bad thing about gauges (and everything else) is that year after year cooler looking ones always come out.
