Recently installed BFG 265s on stock rims. Installer started me off with 65psi front pressure and 50psi rear pressure. I do not do alot of heavy towing. What are you guys with experience running for pressure front and rear to avoid problems?

Thanks for the input and i must add that i love the tires.

Did you have to do any suspension modifications or trimming to fit the 265's in there? I'm looking at putting on a slightly bigger tire but I don't want to have to mess around with trimming and cranking.

I'm right there with EMSi. Some say you can put 285's on stock rims and not have to trim. Others say different.

All I know for sure is that the 245's are GONE once they get enough wear on them that I can justify replacement.

I run 50psi in front and 45 in the rear but I have 285's. I had bought a good pair of used 285's before the ones I run now and had no problem with them fitting (Goodyear MTR's). With the new firestones, I had to crank my torsion bars some to get them to clear the skirt under my front bumper. Would only rub when I backe up and had the wheel turned left. I dont think you'll have any problems with 265's from what I have read/heard

285's never trimmed anything......45 up front and back..anything more makes your truck ride bad....if you pull its a differant story air them up some

Im not sure what my pressures are at in my BFG 265s. I continusly adjusted them untill the tread ran flat across so I have even wear.

I had to do no trimming or adjustments to get the 265s to fit. I love the look of the tires. A fellow that i work with runs 285s without adjustments.

I'm running 265/70-17 Bridgestone Revos on Hummer H2 rims. The only rubbing I get is a tiny bit on the front-most portion of the left side front fender liner - that's it.

But I broke down and bought a Dremel tool today, so I won't be rubbing there much longer.
