OK, don't flame me: I _did_ do a search of this site as well as XMFan.com, but found conflicting info regarding the GM12v2-AUX adapter:

Can I use this adaptor to feed the audio stream directly into my factory 6-disc Bose head unit and STILL retain usage of the CD changer? (I'm not concerned with intergration with the steering controls, etc., as I will be moving the MyFi from my truck to my wife's Passat to various tractors, etc.)

If anyone can speak from experience, I'd appreciate it.

Also, pics of install would be welcome!

Do you have factory XM? I assume not but im just checking.

If you dont have factory XM, you'll need the PAC AAI-GM24 adapter. If you have XM and/or the factory rear seat DVD player, you can use the PAC AAI-GM12

Thanks! That's what I need to know. Now need to decide where I'm going to put the mount.

Just got the MyFi yesterday. Got to say that I'm tickled with XM, even through the cheesy FM modulation. I recently moved out of range of the best radio station on the planet (www.wdvx.com), so I was bummed not being able to hear the tune-age I like.

Hadn't really complained about the music loss too much, but the wifey got the MyFi for me. We're going to play around with it to make sure we like it (signed up for 6 mo. right now as a gift from M.I.L.). Portability was really important to us: truck to car (04 Passat) to house to tractors, hence the MyFi XM2Go.
