paul1987 02-02-2006, 10:18 AM I have an 03 with power extending camper mirrors. Every once in a while, you have to physically pull on them before they will move with the switch. The dealer lubed them but they still do it. Has anyone had this happen to them? and the $100,000 question...how to fix it. thx. gearhead 02-02-2006, 12:31 PM yes that is very common. my dealer finaly had to replace mine a few months back just before they ran out of the 3/36 drhutch 02-02-2006, 12:34 PM My right one does that all the time and from the VIN check both mirrors have been replaced b4 I bought the pickup. So far with help or a long broom handle I have always got it to work. I try not to park them all the way in, maybe 1/4 inch from the stop, seems to help.
