I would think that it would be difficult to install, but hopefully someone that has looked into that will post.

You actually do have the DIC however because you do not have steering wheel controls you are unable to access the other features. From my understanding if you want to you can get a steering wheel with the control and put it on your truck have the dealer reprogram one of the computers and then you have full access to the DIC. There was a thread about doing this either this summer or early fall.

Do a search on "DIC" and you will see it's been discussed here a lot even in post titles.

I looked into adding it. Ended up buying an 3 in 1 scan guage. gave me most everything the steering wheel controls did along with a few other things. So far very happy. here is the website.

nice thing is that you can use it with almost any vehicle that is OBDII compliant.
